ENT Fail

Bailey had an appointment scheduled for Monday the 28th with the ENT she saw at The Children's Hospital in Denver. We cancelled it. We thought we had scheduled a bronchoscopy but I guess that's not what happened. We called to get some details and were informed that it was just a consultation but a bronch could be scheduled at a later date, assuming the Doc thought it was necessary.

Blaine and I discussed it and decided that it didn't make sense for us to drive 16 hours round-trip plus a hotel stay for a consultation. Not to mention that this doctor only works on Mondays, which means if she was going to have a bronch, it would be at least a week later. We can't afford to drive out and stay and then come back a week or so later. Especially when we believe there is nothing that can be done surgically yet.

So we have decided to checkout some ENT's 5 hours closer to home in Kansas City. I just have to start researching those doc's and figure out which one I would like to see Bailey. Add that to the new nutritionist and geneticist we need to see, and it could be a busy few months for all of us.
